Don Warren is a 1984 graduate of NCNM and has served in a number of
leadership roles in the profession including president of the Canadian
College of Naturopathic Medicine and president of the Council on
Naturopathic Medical Education. He was a founding member of the
Academic Consortium for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, served on an advisory panel for the U.S. Institute of Medicine (IOM) Committee on the Use of Complementary and Alternative Medicine by the American Public, and is presently a Senior Editor for the Foundations of Naturopathic Medicine Project. He is currently a principle investigator for the Rwanda Selenium Supplementation Clinical Trial. Don is retired from his practice out of the offices of Naturally Well in Ottawa.

Don was one of five doctors in Canada to receive in 2017 the prestigious Dr. Rogers Prize Groundbreaker Awards for Excellence in Complementary and Alternative Medicine from the Lotte and John Hecht Memorial Foundation.

He lives with his wife Barbara on a 100 acre organic farm just outside Ottawa. His 12 grandchildren keep both he and Barb young at heart and smiling.
